Been through Joy a few times - my grandmother's farm was about 2 miles southwest on Pisgah Rd off 133. There is access to Mantle Rock from 133 about a mile west of Joy. It is part of the Trail of Tears - National Historic Trail.
Haven't been back there for 15 years. Brings back a lot of memories! -Stan

If you blink, you will miss Joy. It is a beautiful area.
