Joseph Snider [sic] and Dorcus Springs married 24 July 1840 Wilson County, Tennessee. They appear on the 1860 Crittenden County census with several children, all born in Tennessee. Following the death of Dorcus Snyder, Joseph married Miss Anna Springs 25 February 1862.
