On 11 January 1838, Nathan C. Byrd obtained a marriage license to marry Miss Sarah Jane Leeper, whose father, R.T. Leeper, gave written consent for the license to be issued.

Tombstone Tuesday - Elizabeth Harman

died May 15, 1837
 
Buried Old Fredonia Cemetery, Caldwell County, Kentucky. Tombstone photographed 15 March 2013. This tombstone style is of sandstone and was very popular during the 1830s and 1840s in this part of western Kentucky.
 
Henry A. Harman obtained a marriage bond to marry Elizabeth M. Leeper 31 October 1831 in Caldwell County. Surety for the marriage bond was John C. Leeper.

Tombstone Tuesday - Robert Leeper

Buried Old Fredonia Cemetery, Caldwell County, Kentucky. Robert Leeper married Jane Neel, who died 3 May 1850. She was the daughter of Col. Thomas Neel.
