Andrew Love obtained a bond to marry Elenor Minner on the 15th of August 1832 in Livingston County, Kentucky. Richard Minner, father of the bride, was bondsman and gave consent for the license to be issued. [1]

When Richard Minner wrote his will on the 10th of October 1844, he made bequests to his children, including leaving a cow to his "beloved daughter Nelly Love."[2]

Tombstone Tuesday - Harvey and Sidney Minner

Brothers Harvey and Sidney Minner are buried in Love Cemetery, Crittenden County, Kentucky. Their tombstone was photographed 7 November 2014.

According to Kentucky Death Certificate #10406, Harve Minner was born 19 July 1877, but his World War I Draft Registration gives his birth date as 19 August 1877 and his full name is listed as Harve Edrington Minner and his occupation as Post Master, Sheridan, Kentucky.  His sister, Sue Yates, was given as his closest relative. He died 27 April 1923.

Sidney Minner's Kentucky Death Certificate #9351 gives his date of birth as 26 January 1871 and death date as 30 April 1915.

The 1910 Crittenden County census shows Harve and Sidney Minner living on the Princeton-Wallace Ferry Road in the household headed by their older sister, Sue Yates, who was the widow of R.H. Yates.[1]

Monument Monday - Richard M. and Sarah E. Flanary

Richard M. Flanary married Sarah E. Love 15 November 1854 in Crittenden County. They appear on the 1860 Crittenden County census with their 2-year-old daughter, Nelly. In 1880, they were still in Crittenden County and their family had grown.  On the 1900 census, Sarah  E. Minner was living in the home of her son, Richard.

The 14 November 1901 edition of the Crittenden Press reported the following:
"Mrs. Elizabeth Flanary, widow of the late Richard Flanary, died at her home near Hebron Tuesday night after a brief illness."

John T. Yates and Susan E. Clark married 20 March 1859 in Crittenden County. 

Rev. Yates' death notice in the Crittenden Press stated he was "an old and highly respected Methodist minister."
