According to his death certificate, [1] John Lucian Alsobrook was born 31 July 1888 in Kentucky and died 20 January 1944 Livingston County. His parents were listed as C.C. Alsobrook and Anna Belle Ramage, both of whom were born in Kentucky.

According to Social Security records, Ethel Alsobrooks was born 11 December 1897.[2]

John  Alsobrook was registered for the draft in World War II. [3] His wife was listed as Mrs. J.L. Alsobrook of R.R. #3, Salem, Kentucky. Alsobrook was self employed.

John and Ethel Alsobrook were enumerated in the household of C.C. and Ana Bell Alsobrook on the 1920 Livingston County, Kentucky census.[4]

Susan Elizabeth Dunlap was born 8 April 1856 Livingston County to Robert A. Dunlap and Mary Ann Compton.[1]  Susan E. Dunlap married Andrew J. Ramage  3 September 1873 in Livingston County. Consent for the license to be issued was given by the bride's guardian, George G. Rappolee.[2]

Susan E. and A.J. Ramage had the following children: Hallie[3], Nettie,[4] Fannie[5] and Isadore Ramage[6].

Andrew J. Ramage died 29 October 1891[7] and, on 2 May 1894, Mrs. S.E. Ramage married S.O. Lackey in Livingston County.[8]

William Phillips obtained a bond and license to marry Judith Rammage (Ramage) 16 April 1816. The marriage was recorded 15 July 1816.[1]  Bondsman was Thomas Phillips.





William Phillips and wife Judah [sic] and their son, William Washington Phillips  were enumerated on the 1850 Livingston County census.[2]

According to his death certificate,  Georgie Leon Ramage was the son of Aaron Elva Ramage and Minnie Hardin, both of whom were born in Kentucky. His wife was listed as Zula Love Ramage.[1]

Following Georgie Leon's death, Zula married Albert G. Hook on 7 October 1950.[2] Her parents are listed as Andrew Jackson Maxfield and Ora Love.

Zula Maxfield Ramage Hook died 21 January 2003 and is buried in McMurry Chapel Cemetery,  Bayou, Livingston County beside her husband, Albert G. Hook (1912 - 1989).[3]

Buried Alsobrook Cemetery, Livingston County, Kentucky. Tombstone photographed 30 July 2015. Etna Nelson died in Creal Springs, Williamson County, Illinois. [1]

Etna Nelson was the daughter of John Ramage and Jane Gray.[2]  She appears as a 9 year old in the household of John and Elizabeth Ramage in Dyers Hill Precinct of Livingston County. [3]  

Miss Etna Ramage married Mr. C.C. Nelson 11 October 1873 at her home in Livingston County. [4]

According to Kentucky death certificate #7643, Georgie Leon Ramage was the son of Aaron Elva Ramage and Minnie Hardin, both of whom were born in Kentucky. At the time of his death, Georgie L. Ramage was married to Zula L. Ramage. 

Zula is enumerated in the household of George and Minnie Evans on the 1910 Livingston County census.  The 1930 Livingston County census (Driskill District) shows Zula, age 20, as the wife of Owen McDonald. They had one daughter, Thelma, age 4 months. The 1940 Livingston County census shows Georgie and Zula living with his parents, Aron and Minnie Ramage. Zula's death date is unknown.
