Virginia Dallam Atkinson was born 26 February 1863 Henderson, Kentucky and died 29 December 1941. She is buried at Fernwood Cemetery.
Virginia Dallam Atkinson was the daughter of Virginia Josephine Dallam, born 20 February 1834 Caldwell County, Kentucky and died 1 May 1869 Henderson County, Kentucky, and John Cunningham Atkinson, for whom Atkinson Park in Henderson is named. Siblings of Virginia Dallam Atkinson were John C. Atkinson, Kate Atkinson and Anna Webb Atkinson. The Dallams were members of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

I found your post about Virginia's Headstone. I am trying to confirm the birth date of one of her half siblings, George Atkinson buried in the Fernwood Cemetery. If you are close to there can you check the birthdate for me? He is on a marker with his brother Francis Atkinson, lot. 214 and 12. It has been extracted as 1853 but his sister Eliza was born in 1853 with several records confirming that. I am thinking it might be 1858 instead which would put the family in correct order. Since George died as a child this seems to be the only record of him.

I do not live in Henderson - sorry. From the picture on Find A Grave, Memorial #90262602, it looks like his year of death is 1859. The next time I am over that way, I will check.
