C.D. Sullivan, age 2,  was enumerated in the household of H.L.  and M.S. Sullivan on the 1870 Crittenden County census.[1]

The following death notice appeared in the Crittenden County newspaper on 10 August 1899, shortly  after the death of Cordelia "Dedie" Sullivan:  "Miss Dedie Sullivant  [sic] died at the home of her father, H.L. Sullivant, near Bells Mines Sunday afternoon. The funeral took place Monday, Rev. Love of Caseyville officiating."[2]
