Cloa
Bean/Beane and Hiram L. Hazel were
married 12 October 1866 in Union County, Kentucky by Father Durbin, Roman
Catholic priest. [1]
They were living in Webster County in 1880[2]
and, by 1900 had moved to Bells Mines in the northern part of Crittenden
County.[3]
In 1900, Cloa Ann Hazel was age 48, born August 1851 and had given birth to
nine children with only five of them living.
After Cloa
Ann's death, her husband moved to Arkansas, where he died 11 July 1924 and is
said to be buried in Sebastian County, Arkansas.[4]
