Foster Threlkeld was the son of Willis Threlkeld and Susan Foster of Crittenden County, Kentucky. Following the death of his father, Foster Threlkeld, his mother and sister, Clara, moved into the home of his uncle, Robert W. Foster .
Foster Threlkeld married Anna Black 22 December 1880 in Crittenden County. Anna died in 1882 and Foster died in 1904. Both are buried in Mapleview Cemetery, Marion, Kentucky.
